Our Lady of Guadalupe...

"I am the ever-virgin Mary, Mother of the true God who gives life and maintains its existence. He creates all things. He is in all places. He is the God of Heaven and Earth.
I desire a church in this place where your people may experience my compassion.
All those who sincerely ask my help in their work and in their sorrows will know my Mother's Heart in this place. Here I will see their tears; I will console them and they will be at peace. Call me and call my image Santa Maria de Guadalupe."

Adult Education

The art of adult education for our parish is evolving. Along with the already existing programs we are looking to expand opportunities for English and Spanish speaking adults to come together and grow together. One parishioner shared, “The more I experience and understand my faith the happier and more grateful I am…and kids catch the spirit if we are happy!” Another said, “Even if our language is limited “our words have power” and, in sharing our stories and the love of Christ with each other, there are many “benedictions – little blessings”.

We pass on from generation to generation what we learn. Adult education gatherings invite us to understand more deeply the truths we may already know; to deepen our community experience; to “come and see” how we can love and support one another through the joys and challenges of our lives; to share our stories and help each other awaken to the connection of our stories and God’s story; to be enriched and empowered to be all that we are in Christ and to let our ministry flow out of that place.
